Anne Heche, the Emmy- and Tony-nominated actor whose paintings in “Six Days Seven Nights,” “Another World” and dozens of different initiatives dovetailed with a groundbreaking romance with Ellen DeGeneres that challenged homophobia in Hollywood, has died. She become fifty three.
Her eldest son, Homer Laffoon, showed her dying in a declaration to The Times on Friday.
“My brother Atlas and I misplaced our Mom. After six days of just about improbable emotional swings, I am left with a deep, wordless sadness,” he wrote. “Hopefully my mother is unfastened from ache and starting to discover what I like to assume as her everlasting freedom.
“Over the ones six days, lots of friends, family, and fanatics made their hearts recognized to me. I am thankful for his or her love, as I am for the aid of my Dad, Coley, and my stepmom Alexi who stay my rock at some stage in this time. Rest In Peace Mom, I love you, Homer.” :
